Axis Deer and Springbok Gazelle are subject to seasonal inventory. Hair on Hide pieces are one-of-kind. Anticipate variations in every piece in pattern and color from hide to hide. Hair on Hide pieces are one-of-kind and should be shown special care and will not hold up to the normal everyday usage of leather.

Hair On Hide Leathers

Natural bovine hides which will vary in color, as well as in pattern of the markings. Anticipate this variation from hide to hide. The various background colors will vary from hide to hide.

Nubuck Pure Aniline Leathers (back to top)

Tanned and pure aniline dyed with no finished coat. Nubuck, referred to as naked leather, leathers offer the latest technology advancement combining a sophisticated distressed look with a buttery, soft hand. As each hide is processed individually, the color markings will be unique and the variations are the hallmark of the pattern. Nubuck has the same specifications of aniline leather, but is considered brushed and all most naked leather; therefore spills and stains should be taken care of promptly.

Environment Notes: Spills may be a concern for stains and natural oils. This leather needs to be appreciated and not abused by daily traffic. Conducive to adult environments but be careful of light as it may fade being a very natural, naked
and beautiful leather with a lot of grain and dye variations. Not recommended for families with pets or children.

Wax Pull-Up Leathers (back to top)

Full, top grain leathers, aniline dyed and finished with special oils or waxes to add unique softness and color inconsistency with age. Its thickness features a rich pebble grain accented with a patina burst of the pull effect. This fashionable, boot leather look will work with a variety of upholstery styles and will age with grace and beauty. Wall Pull-Up’s tend to show marks and wear gracefully but will pull-up with care.

Environment Notes: A wax/oil pull-up that repels liquid very well. Medium light fastness, scratches can be removed with warm cloth. Very durable, elegant and a thick cut that wears well in time but owners of undisciplined pets should choose another grade.

Semi and Pure Anilined Dyed Leather (back to top)

Tanned, aniline dyed and finished with a seal coat, colored base and topcoat. This leather offers smoothness and softness, which is the identifying characteristic of this top grain, semi-aniline leather. Some TEXTURED leather are fashionable in design with aged markings, these hand washed leathers features a distressed look, soft hand and slight wax drag. The hand washed look is achieved on a full grain, aniline drum dyed leather. Textured leathers, both to the appearance and touch, makes this leather a high fashion design statement with its natural markings. You will see stretch marks, fat wrinkles, brands and other natural hallmarks of textured leathers.

Environment Notes: Be careful of direct light as this leather may fade. To the touch, the softness will immediately tell the quality and value in the leather that is very durable in most environments yet easy to clean.
